Or at least a busy photographer! This fall has been crazy busy for me, so I’m a bit behind on my blogging. I figure it’s better to let this get a bit behind rather than get behind on editing. Anyway, the end is in sight for me. I’m sprinting for the finish line and spending lots o’ quality time with my computer and photoshop. If you haven’t gotten your sneak peek yet, it’ll be up sometime this week. In fact, except for Anna & Jayce’s wedding, everyone’s full galleries should be up by the time I head off to my 10 yr high school reunion on Friday. *doing a happy dance*

I met the always awesome Danielle on Sunday morning at The Fruit & Berry Patch in Halls to tag along on a session. I love the berry patch. If you haven’t been, you need to go check it out. You can pick your own fruit (depending on what’s in season, of course). They have all kinds of yummy stuff – peaches, apples, blueberries, strawberries, corn, pumpkins, etc. They also sell some pre-made stuff like pies and absolutely fab apple cider. Yum! And in the fall the have hay rides to the pumpkin patch and petting zoo. We always take the kids every fall.

Sarah is a friend of Danielle’s, and it turns out that I went to school with Nathan. The entire time I was thinking he looked so flipping familar, but I couldn’t put my finger on it. Later when I looked at their midel releases, I released he was a former classmate. Our reunion is coming up next week, so I hope to see you guys again! Thanks for coming out so early. The light was so great though.

Last Sunday I net Neal and Emily at the Tennessee Valley Fair for a portrait session. Unfortunately about 30 mins before I was due to meet them, it started raining. It was the last night of the fair, so we decided to go ahead and try. The rain didn’t last long, so we were able to get the session in. The rain made all the lights much more reflective. Meal and Emily were great! Totally up for whatever we suggested and seemed very comfortable in front of the camera.  Thanks so much you two! Here are my faves from the session:

Last Friday Danielle and I headed to Grandview in Chattanooga for Renee & Joel’s wedding. We got there a little earlier than Renee, so we took some time to scout out vantage points for the ceremony and to get some of the details. The Grandview is a great location for a smaller wedding. The view is amazing, and all of the staff kept things running smoothly all day. Here are just a few of the images from before the ceremony. On Friday, Danielle and I photographed Renee and Joel’s amazing wedding at the georgous Grandview. We got there a little early, so we had time to explore a bit.  As soon as we saw this window coming up the stairs, we knew we had to get some shots of Renee in front of it. So here’s just one image.
