Eye Candy

The Eye Candy website is coming in August! In the meantime, here are some tips and suggestions for your session.

Tips and Suggestions

  • Come with your face free of make-up. Of your package includes make-up, the make-up artist will apply your make-up on location. If it is not part of your package, I still recommend applying it after your arrive, especially in the warmer months. This allows your make-up to look as fresh as possible.
  • Come in baggy, loose clothing. Avoid jeans, watches, and other garments that may leave marks on your skin. I also recommend skipping undergarments all together. The marks left behind can take a while to fade.
  • Bring a robe if you’ve got one. This will allow you to stay warm during set changes. This may also make you feel less awkward coming out of the dressing room.
  • If possible, bring any clothing that may wrinkle on hangers. A lot of the silky and satiny materials tend to be very wrinkle prone.
  • If you are having any waxing done (or doing it yourself), no matter where, please do so at least 24 hours prior to your session to guarantee and redness or irritation has subsided. The same goes for heavy tweezing. (Tweezing a few stray hairs is fine though!)
  • Time shaving your legs, bikini area, and under arms to avoid both razor burn and stubble.
  • Be careful to avoid sunburns or harsh tan lines.
  • If you’ve never had a spray tan or used self tanners, right before your session is not the time to experiment! Pale is sexier than orange. Or worse, orange and splotchy. If you already now how your skin will react, then go ahead.
  • Don’t eat a big meal before the session and avoid foods that will make you bloated the night before and the morning of your session. Do be sure and eat at least a small snack prior to your session though. I don’t want anyone passing out on me!
  • Avoid dark colored drinks before your session. Things like coffee, soft drinks, blue slushies, etc can discolor your teeth. You may even want to consider bringing your toothbrush and toothpaste for a last minute brushing to get your teeth as shiny and white as possible.
  • Don’t forget about your fingernails and toenails. Unless you are coordinating for your look, I recommend a basic french manicure or even just a coat of clear nail polish. Please do not show up with chipped polish.
  • I will be providing light refreshments in the studio. Please let me know about any dietary restrictions or allergies as soon as possible.
  • Cut off all the tags on the lingerie you plan on wearing. Besides the possibility of a stray tag poking out, the tags are also visible through many of the sheer or lacy fabrics.
  • Express your limits. We will talk about the look you are going for and your wardrobe plans prior to your session, but it’s also helpful for me to know what you’re comfortable with. Also, let me know if there are any aspects of your body that you are self-conscious about as well as your favorite features.
  • If your shoes will leave a mark on your feet,  remove them after you arrive. Feel free to bring slippers or flip flops.
  • Bring more outfits than you plan on wearing, especially if you are a bit uncertain about your choices.
  • If your hair is colored, plan a touch-up several days prior to your session.
  • Exfoliate and moisturize the night before your session, and moisturize again in the morning.
  • Get a good nights sleep the night before your session. You’ll look AND feel better.

Things to Bring

  • Your clothes for the session! If you need help with your look, let me know, and I can offer suggestions.
  • Shoes! At the very least bring a pair of sexy pumps. Black is always a winner. If you have some you like but are uncertain about, go ahead and bring them.
  • Jewelry. If you’d like to pair a necklace or other jewelry with your look don’t forget to bring them along.
  • Stockings, garter, thigh highs, etc., if desired.
  • Make-up, if it’s not included.
  • Hair products – brush, straightener, curling iron, whatever you’ll need if you’re styling your hair in the studio.
  • Your ipod or cds with your favorite music that makes you feel sexy. I’ll have my ipod there, but we may not have the same tastes in music.
  • Clothing for after your session if you don’t want to leave in your baggy clothes.
  • Your id. You have to be 18 or older. No exceptions.
